I have tried to make this work for almost two years and I just can't come up with anything but crap. So I am putting up my plot bunny for adoption. I have two versions of it (think of them as twins). Here is one:

Spike is still incorporeal and is the History of Magic professor at Hogwarts
Xander is the DADA professor
They are in an established relationship
Spike can touch Xander and Xander can touch him only when Xander is wearing the amulet
They are there to help Harry win the war, and in exchange Dumbledore will help turn Spike corporeal.

and two:
same thing only Xander is de-aged and asked to pose as a student and befriend Harry in order to better help him prepare for the war. He also has to deal with trying to hide his ongoing relationship with Spike.

I really want to see both stories written. If you decide to take one on, please let me know. Happy writing. :)

PS. I would love to see more than one author's take on these stories, so don't think you can't throw your hat into the ring just because someone already did. :D

but at this point it's a toss up whether that's a good thing or not. So, lots of fun shit has happened since my last update.

First: On the morning of Wednesday Oct 31, 2007 at around 10:00am my aunt Linda lost her year long battle with brain cancer and passed away. The funeral's happened Friday Nov 2 so I had to fly into Dallas and have my cousin pick me up. The only thing was that the Vice President had flown in the same day, so traffic was locked down around the airport; it took us two hours to leave. The funeral wasn't to bad. We (Mom, Dad, Kat and me) go home with a lot of extra food.

Second: The day after the funeral (Saturday Nov 3) our parents sit Kat and me down in the living room and drop a bombshell: my mom has breast cancer. Her mammogram showed a tumor the size of a nickel and the biopsy show that it was malignant. She was scheduled to meet with the doctor the next Monday (Nov 5). She called me once she was done at the Doctor's and said that she would have a mastectomy (that's where they remove one breast) a week from Friday (Nov 16). I flew back to Austin the morning of the 16th and my uncle drove me to the hospital. The surgery went well, but we wouldn't find out if the cancer had spread until after Thanksgiving, which I would not be able to come home for. Well, luckily the cancer hasn't spread and it doesn't look like Mom will even need chemotherapy (finger's crossed). Both my sister and I, however, will start getting mammograms when we reach 30.

Third: I'm pretty sure that I'm going to fail at least one of my courses, which will get me kicked out of the university for a year.

So, to recap: My aunt dies Wednesday. Her funeral is on Friday. I find out my mom has breast cancer Saturday. Monday she tells me she has to have surgery. The next week they chop off her left breast. The week after that I don't get to come home for Thanksgiving because my professor is a dick. Oh and also, there's a good chance I'm going to get kicked out of the university.

Worst. Semester. Ever.

I really want to have sex. Like, right now. With a guy. Which is totally weird because I'm an asexual (not attracted to either sex), and it's all because of the song I'm listening to. Just thought I'd share.

For those of you just tuning in to the badly written drama that is my life, I passed all my classes for spring but am still on probation, I think I failed my Maymester class, and my aunt's back in ICU because her white count is in the toilet.

At this point I'm just barely holding my shit together and government starts Tuesday. I finished moving into my apartment Friday, but I don't think I got the dorm room clean enough to pass inspection on my way out, so Camden's most likely going to take me to the cleaners money wise. I still need to unpack all my shit and figure out what I need to buy for the kitchen.

Sorry this post is so whinny, but I've needed to vent for almost a month and I just haven't had time. I hope God sucks a turd and dies. >:(

Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! Last Tuesday I gave lit_gal a Dutch Oven (-10 points). In April I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In August I gave amejisuto a kidney (1000 points). In February I punched calic0cat in the arm (-10 points). In June I put money in finwealtariel's expired parking meter (14 points). Overall, I've been nice (1320 points). For Christmas I deserve a shiny red ball! Sincerely, smokey-duck

So, Aunt Linda's back in the hospital. She had a bad to reaction to one of her medications. We won't know if it was serious until later today. We go to Grandma's Thanksgiving Day (just for that day) but Linda will most likely still be in the hospital. Life seems to enjoy kicking me when I'm already on the floor bleeding.

Holiday=new look. I'm flying home Wed. 22nd, the day before Thanksgiving, which will be an experience. God help me.

I apparently misunderstood my mother yesterday. The surgery was TODAY. The tumor was malignant, so the doctors removed all they could and my aunt will have to go through chemotherapy to hopefully get rid of the rest. She will spend the night in ICU and talk to the radiologist tomorrow. My mom is trying to come home Saturday. I'm still going home tomorrow.

I got a call at 4:30pm today from my mom. My aunt, Linda, has just been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Surgery is scheduled for Saturday. It is most likely a benign tumor, but we won't know for sure until after the surgery. That's really all I have to say right now. I'm riding the Greyhound home Friday and will be headed back to Corpus on Sunday. I'll be staying at my house with Jenni.

So...new look. I felt it appropriate, considering where I live and the fact that I've started volunteering at the aquarium.

OMFG!!!! I am just now on the mend from being sick (some type of virus), and I move to Corpus Christi in TWO DAYS!!!!!!!!!! I don't have ANYTHING packed. I am so dead. My mom and I are hitting the road at 9:15am on Wednesday, right after we drop my little sister off at school (it's the first day for GISD). College classes don't start till the 23rd(Wed) so that gives me time to settle into my dorm room. I have my own room (I just share the toilet and the tub with one other person) and I am very happy about it. finwealtariel I swear to GOD that I will have the first chapter of your story to you tonight or early tomorrow morning. I cannot apologize enough for how late this is. :X Hopefully it will never take me this long again, but with my first year at college just starting, i can't make any promises. :(

to anyone that cares, no I'm not dead. Just so sick that I wish I was. I hope to be back on my feet by Sunday, so finwealtariel I hope to have your story to you by the end of this weekend. Sorry it's taken this long. I've been feverishly sick for the past week. :(

I'm updating on my new laptop!!!! This thing rocks soooo hard. It's a wide-screen, bright!view, HD screen, Windows XP Media Edition Fujitsu Lifebook N Series. YAY!!! I wanted an HP dv8000t, but this laptop seems just as good. I'm going to go have a stroke of happiness in the corner now. :D

Title kinda explains it all, but I am sooooo stoked!!!!1111!!!1 The laptop's supose to get here Wednesday. I get to buy a skin for it too, so it will look even cooler. :P I also bought a new video iPod this week. It's freakin sweet!
